Thank you !!!!!!!!!
Another success for the rowing club of Souda.
After the remarkable presence of the N.A.O. Soudas Rowing Club in the National championships in Corfu and Ioannina, another success adds to the assets of the Group for 2012, the result of hard and methodical work of the coaches and the athletes, is demonstrating that there is past - present and future.
The Club’s Rowing Athlete George Hatzicostas after winning the silver medal in double Sculls at the Development Pan-Hellenic Games held in Corfu on 7 and 8 July 2012 (double Sculls crew where George Hatzicostas - Bill Hatzidakis) and the evaluation of athletes had been in February 2012 by the Greek Rowing Federation which had become 1st at the tests, he called to the development coaching commune of the National Junior Team that will take place in Ioannina from 1 until August 6, 2012, under the guidance of Federal coach Mrs. Gianniou Dimitra and her coaching group.
In this national coach commune with 33 boys and 14 girls from all over Greece are expected to staff the National Rowing Team in the coming years
The Board of Directors of the N.A.O. Soudas compliments the department's Rowing Coaches Mr. Daniel Chomatas and Mrs. Dimitra Ladaki for methodical and hard work done, and also the above athlete for his success and wishes them all the best.
Finally worth noting is that the N.A.O. Soudas Rowing Club is the only group in Greece that created Rowing Academy (nursery) with children aged 8 and older. The results of this initiative are now visible.
